DC LEGENDS, another games of WB Production that make a good start in the market of Tectical game. Though many people could say that it is just craze of the word "DC". But it is a good game for the players who has an attraction for RPG based games that focuses on tectic more than actual gameplay.
The story of DC Legends games actually based on the comic book series of Green Lantern: The Blackest Night that published in 2009-10 by DC Comics.The Blackest Night involves
Nekron , a personified force of death who reanimates deceased superheroes and seeks to eliminate all life and emotion from the universe.
In DC Legends, you have to collect those reanimated heroes and make a team and up their level and then fight with Nekron.
The DC Comics says,
Now, there is affinity relationship that make the game more tactical. Physical is strong against Mystical. Mystical is strong agains Energy. And Energy is strong against Physical. It is actually a good idea to make this game interesting.
Since the last update, the game has 45 heroes and every one of them has different move that make every heroes unique. At first you have collect hero fragment that destroyed by Nekron. Once you have enough fragment of one perticular hero, you can unlock him and put him in your team. You have to update your heroes's gear and super power to make them stronger and you have to collect their fragment more in order to increase their star that make them even stronger. In order to collect the gear equipmnet and fragment, you just have to play story campaign
The game has four mode to play. Story Campaign, PVP Wraith Arena, Hero Challenge and Timed event. Although PVP arena seems bit confusing.
Story Mode starts with the story of Blackest Night that ends in Level 8, the last level. And yeah, the story make the game more interesting. So, people like me, trying to save the universe act like batman is actually a good point to stick to the games unless you are a marvel fan.
It is an addictive game. But it also has some nagative side. Many gamer complained that that game is buggy. And also it gives more benifit to the people who pays for the game. But hey, who doesn't?
It is obvious. you have to be patient if you are a "Free to Play" gamer.
Sometime the same move of a hero can make the game boring, it is true. They could make them more interesting.
Overall it was an average RPG style games of a common plot but with some unique idea.
