So there are many Operating System based on this carnel like Ubuntu , Fedora, Linux mint. Android is one of them . Android OS is developed by the Google inc based on Linux carnel. But it generally made for touchscreen smartphone. It is now the most popular OS for smartphone.

The Pre Android Era
Some years before the android existed, there was a small company named Danger. Danger was founder by Andy Rubin. On this time, Danger partnership with T mobile, made a smartphone with a landscape keyboard and several software like masseging, Web browsing etc and ofcourse with User Friendly Enterface. That smartphone and the company itself became a hotcake. They seld smartphone compete with Microsoft and Blackberry at this time.
Then Andy Rubin was replaced the director of the Board of his own company. Andy Rubin, then created a new company focused on developing a platform that was open to all software designers.
The name of the Company is ANDROID Inc.
Starting of android Inc.
During early time Android Inc was a company of small team of software engeneers without no product to sell for two years. They wanted to make a cloud based open source platform where every software engineer can contribute. Just like Danger, this idea begin to attract the invester when it was finally revealed to them in year of 2005.
But on that time, google founder Sergei Brin and Larry Page wanted to compete with the big company like Microsoft and Blakberry, in order to take possession in smartphone market.
Those google co-founders wanted more phone with default google search engine in it. So android was exactly the one they needed. They invest and bought large share of android.
Andy Rubin and his team set up their office in California. They made a android phone combined with T-mobile, HTC and Google- a smartphone that had QWERTY keypad and a large touch based screen. This was considered as a first android smartphone.There were many prototype had been considered and rejected before this one.But the best known prototye was the known by the code name "Sooner".

The HTC-built slab looked more like the BlackBerry devices of the time than the touch-focused designs to come, with a full QWERTY keyboard below a 320x240 display.And that's how Android started their journey in the smartphone market. (to be continued).
